Ready Launch Mail Center (rlmail.thejoelwall.com). Version 1.0, last updated October 16, 2026.
Who we are
The Mail Center is part of Ready Launch's residential mail service. Letters addressed to you arrive at a Ready Launch residential address; the person at that address photographs each piece, and you choose what happens to it here: open and scan, ship, shred, deposit or hold.
What we keep
- Envelope photos: one photo of the outside of each piece. Location and phone details are removed from the photo before it is stored; a photo whose location cannot be removed is refused.
- Inside scans: only when you ask us to open and scan a piece.
- What the envelope says: the recipient and sender names, read from the photo, so the piece reaches the right client.
- AI summaries: a one or two line summary of each inside scan, shown only to you and to Ready Launch staff. It leaves out full account numbers, tax ID numbers and passwords, and it is never put in an email.
- Shipping addresses: the name, address and phone you give us when you ask us to ship mail, and the tracking details.
- Your choices and our work on them: what you asked for each piece, when, and when it was done. Every action is written to an audit log that cannot be edited.
- Sign-in and security data: sign-in times, IP address, browser, one-time codes (stored only as a hash), and, if you add a passkey, its public key and the name you give it (the private key never leaves your device), and, if you add an authenticator app, its key, stored encrypted.
How we use it
Only to run your mail service: to show you your mail, carry out your choices, ship what you ask, remind you before unclaimed mail is shredded, and keep your account secure. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who sees it and who we share it with
- You, and the Ready Launch staff who handle your mail. The person at the residential address sees the outside of the pieces they photograph and the to-do list of what to do with them.
- Anthropic (AI): the envelope photo, to read the recipient and sender names, and the inside scan, to write its summary. Each file is sent on its own, for that task only.
- EasyPost: the shipping address and the parcel details, to buy a shipping label and track it. Whop: to take payment for shipping. We do not see or store card numbers.
- Resend: to send emails such as sign-in codes and the daily mail email, which names senders only.
- Our hosting provider, to run the servers. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
See the Data Retention policy. In short: mail with no choice from you is shredded 30 days after it arrives (we remind you before), and you can ask us to delete photos, scans and summaries at any time.
Security
- All traffic is encrypted with TLS.
- Envelope photos and inside scans are stored encrypted (AES-256). Files are served only to the client they belong to and to staff, never from a public folder, and each view is logged.
- Signing in needs your password and a 6-digit code we email you, or a passkey (Face ID, fingerprint or device PIN) or a code from an authenticator app if you add one on Settings. If you choose to trust a device, it skips the code for up to 30 days.
- Each client can see only their own mail.
Deleting your data
Send your Ready Launch team a message from your client portal (Messages) and say which mail, or all of it, you want deleted. We confirm when it is done.
Changes
If we make a material change to this policy, we tell you in the Mail Center or by email before it applies.
